Perfect Rendition is a non-commercial fan project made for fun by three school friends who love music and games. All audio clips are original vocal jazz trumpet impressions — no instruments, samples or copyrighted recordings are used. Song titles and artist names are referenced for identification purposes only and remain the property of their respective rights holders. If you have concerns about any content, please contact us.
About
Perfect Rendition started as a running joke between three school friends. During a daily dog walk, one friend started sending voice notes to the group chat of jazz trumpet impressions of famous songs, performed entirely with his mouth.
It became a daily obsession. He urged us to guess the song and artist and was confused if we couldn’t because, despite being deaf in one ear and probably tone-deaf in the other, he maintained that the renditions were always PERFECT.
How to play
Each day there's a new jazz trumpet impression of a well-known song. You have three guesses to name the artist and the song title.
After each guess, you'll see green for correct and red for wrong. If you get one right, it locks in and you just need to crack the other. Get both right and you'll receive the hallowed title of JAZZBUSTERS, which is a reference to the 80s quiz show Blockbusters that you have probably never heard of.
Scoring
Get it right and your streak goes up. Miss all three and it resets. Click the share button to share your result with friends with a coloured grid that shows how you did without spoiling the answer.
